lol, no shit.

Don't worry about writing back right now, I hate feeling pressured to reply to people when I'm busy or not in the mood. That's why I hate msn.

Yeah I know a Casey, Kacie, Kaci, and Kasey. My hubby is the only boy out of those lol. But I've heard of other guys with Casey/Kacey. Most people assume his is with a C because its they typical boy spelling. If he would've been a girl he would've been Casey. I guess his mom is justass backwards lol.

me and my husband couldn't agree on names either for our son. for our daughter it was super easy and for a girls name for our second if he had been a girl we had a great name picked out but we could not agree on a name. my husband's name is jarrod nickolas and he goes by nick since he was named after his dad and he hates him. so he wanted the baby named nickolas (after him) and james (after lebron james) i wanted declan for the first name. i gave up declan since nickolas meant so much to him even though i hated the name. nick the dick etc... plus i have dated a lot of guys named nick and the only guy to really break my feelings was named nick. so for the middle name i wanted reid. i was dead set on that name. we made a bet and i lost and so our son's name is nickolas james. i am not completely happy with it but he is not a declan but maybe a reid i could see lol.

just try to not argue about it until you have to deal with it. no use making arguments where they don't need to be. since he got to name our son completely i get to name the next animal we get in like 10 years. not much but it is still a compromise.

That's like my friend Don. His mom was convinced she was having a girl and picked the name Dawn so when he was born she named him Don and still got her wish.

All of my pregnancy we couldn't agree on a name, he wanted a junior so badly but I really didn't wanta junior, but then we came to the conclusion that all of his family has given their first son their first name and a family middle name, so my husband is Christopher 'Chris' Kyle Johnson and our son is Christopher James Johnson, I could live with that since both of my grandfathers were James and my huband had an Uncle James...if we have another boy we will name him William "Liam" Grant Johnson (William-fil Grant-dads middle name).
Its just being inventive enough...like my husband wants to if we have a daughter to have his mothers nickname in there somehow, but that means shoving my mom aside...ehhh no so our hopefully eventual daughter will be Anastasia "Anya" Leynna Johnson (Lena-mil Lynn-moms middle name).

Quoting Mrs. Conan O'Brien:“ why? seriously, fuck that lol there are billions of names in the world. so why should the kid have to have his exact name? & she already mentioned he's not willing to compromise.”

i know he wont, so why cant she? i personally wouldnt push that hard if i knew it was SO important to him. obviously if he walked out and left for hours, it hurts that she wont agree to name their son after him. its a pride thing and right now, she is basically telling her husband/man/boyfriend/fuckbuddy that he isnt worth that level of respect.

i said SHE should compromise. no i wouldnt name my son Cheesecake, although my SO and i have decided that our son will be The Third. i HATE my SO's name, but he feels strongly about that, and i respect that. to him, its about pride, respect, and legacy. if i were to say NO, i would basically be slapping him in the face, and im not willing to do that. I just refer to my future son as Trez

I totally know where you are coming from!! My husband wants to name our first boy after his grandpa...who is William Elliott. I hate the name William. It sounds old. I was sooo relieved when we found out I was having a girl. I probably would never back down to it. Maybe tell him his MIDDLE name can be Harry or something but you will NOT go through 9 months of hell and the pain of labor to have your child have such an awful name.

Honestly - I'd probably just say "okay you win" and then if it came down to you having a boy, then I'd fight the battle when it comes. (So basically lie and deal with it later if you need to).You might have a girl and never have to deal with it.

I'm just curious if you know what the word compromise meanas? It means two people who have two different ideas on the outcome of the situation, come together and each give a little bit to make a new outcome. Like if we named our son I dunno.. Tobias Cooper, he still gets the middle name, and I don't have a kid called Harry.

Since he's not willing to compromise, he wants exactly what he wants. There is no compromise. I have to either give him the name Harry wants him to have, or fight about it for another year.

following now?

Seems like your fiance is the one who doesn't know what the word compromise is...

Is this some lifelong dream of his or something?
