Both of my parents smoked in the house and the car, and I hated it when I was little. I didn't think it was fair that I had to suffer for their bad habits.
I'm pretty sure thata few years back in WA, theypresented a bill to outlawsmoking in a vehicle when a minor is present. It didn't pass.

It's against the law to smoke in a car with kids here, and I bet it will be illegal to smoke in your home soon with good.

Me too! Plus I had asthma and my darn parents smoked around me anyways.  
Really made me feel like their smoking came before me, their daughter.

You'll have other opportunities. I'm sure when she gets a little older she'll have sleep overs at friends house, and you can have a nice quiet night without feeling guilty
