drinking from the bottle

ok so my baby is a strictly breast fed baby and i have no problem with it but i will be starting work soon so i tried feeding her a bottle. i have given her a bottle in the past when i pumped but that was months ago and she drank from the bottle, the problem is that now that ive been breast feeding so long, she wont drink from the bottle!! she bites on the nipple and plays with it making her little sounds..lol i kept trying for 20 mintes or so...no luck.

does anyone have any advice? Thanks

maybe have her dady( or someone else if he isnt around) give the bottle cause why would bubba drink from a bottle when the real sorce is just near by??  
My baby would refuse if i was in sight as soon as i left the room, it was all systems go.

I had the same problem too, my son had nipple confusion at first. Try positoning her like you're going to breastfeed her but give her the bottle & maybe wiggle it around her mouth, that worked for me & now my son has no problem switching from the breast to the bottle.

Guess what ladies, my baby girl drank from her bottle when daddy fed her! I left the room and she drank the whole thing i was sooo shocked! but it worked!! so thank you all,i appreciate the helpful advice

I started having Antonio give Leilah 1 or 2 bottles a day for practice so she'd get used to it...shes doing much better now. So try that..lol

yeah have someone else feed her till she gets used to it, and try NUK bottles
