Bottle choice?

posted 1st Nov
I'm interested in getting The First Years Breast Flow OR Soothie bottle. I'm ultimately going to breatfed for the first 6 weeks but when I go to work, I want an easy transition for him. Are these good bottles? I can't afford the drop-ins or I'd do those.

I was in Target today and seemed to draw interest to the Breast Flow bottles only because I don't want him confused. Are the Soothies kinda like that too? Easy transition back and forth?

I wanted the 'breast flow' ones also, but i priced them kinda high... the Drop-ins arent really exspensive.. went through about a box/ box & half a Month. Ive heard good things about Soothies too

I use soothie and my daughter does great with them. I'm not sure if it's the same with all babies, but with the standard nipples that come in the bottles, my daughter acted like she was getting way too much and would pull away from the bottle, so I do recommend buying the slow flow nipples for when they are still little. My daughter is 3 months old and still only uses the slow flow.

I really suggest avent. ALthough they are kinda expensive, you only gotta buy em once!

I have breast flow... great bottles never had a problem with them with either of my girls and they worked well since I breast feed too.

avent is a good brand too... I use those bottles after I finish breastfeeding and start formula feeding at six months.
