is she coming too soon {HELP}

posted 1st Nov
I recently came from the doctor and found out I was having a girl. Im only five months...when the ultra sound tech was checking the baby she noticed that Karlie was facing down ward already and made a comment saying oh this baby is ready to come here already...and like 2 weeks ago when my boyfriend and I were having sex I had to keep telling him to stop b cuz it hurt so bad and I could feel the baby in my cervix and she was sssoooo low...the ultra sound tech seemed pretty young as if it was her first time so Im not sure if she realized this could be a problem...although I go to the doc next wednesday is it possible that my baby is trying to come early within the next month and some weeks or it is normal for them to switch position this early and face downward??? just worried

Babies turn up to 36 weeks. Just because she's head down now means nothing.

Your cervix hurting is normal. You're pregnant, it's tender.

Congrats on the girl btw. But simmer down. She's not coming yet.

my daughter was head down around then too.

i went 2 days overdue.

you're fine. the US tech was probably trying to make a joke. next time you're confused about something they say, ask them to clarify, tho.

it'll saveyou some worry.

I am pretty sure my daughter hung out head down pretty much my entire pregnancy. Don't worry, mama. This is the stage when they really start moving around. You are going to feel her ALL over the place!

At my first U/S (20 ish weeks) My LO was head down too.. Nothing to worry about.. As the U/S tech put it "Not that it matters, as they can still turn breech between now and then"

My son was head down at 25 weeks. I had him on my due date. I wouldn't worry. Some babies just flip early

And with the pain on your cervix, my husband could go in all the way while I was pregnant. All the extra blood flow makes things a little swollen. So you have to be a bit more cautious or it hurts.

Yeah head down doesn't mean anything, at my 30 week she was head down and my u/s tech said the same thing lol
