NYS disability.

Do any of you ladies know if being pregnant qualifies you for disability through the state? And if so, how do I go about getting it?

Pregnancy doesn't mean you're disabled...

Thank goodness! But I have heard that if your employer doesn't offer paid leave (which mine does not) that you may be eligible for disability.

in new york after u have ur baby u did get dissiabilty for as long as the dr has u out

What is it if you cant work due to pregnancy?

I don't think they HAVE to pay you.

you have to ask your employer for the paper work and if they do not want to give it to you call disiabilty for your county u are intitled to it

jobs dont no but a lot of jobs in ny offer pay maternity leave
