Guy friends

Is it appropriate for a married women to have guy friends who dislike her husband?

I have a lot of guy friends who really dislike my husband.

I don't think so, unless those male friends had other intentions than friendship with you.
Not everyone has to like everyone

I think it would cause tension in the marriage.

Honestly I have more guy friends than I do girls! My husband is ok with it because I am always honest with him and I always have been.

There are things that my husband does that I'm sure some of my guy friends dont like.

You have to be able to pick and choose what you talk about and what you dont with opposite sex friendships. Some things just arent appropriate.

But, Would it cause any more tension than having girlfriends that hate your husband too??? That causes just as much tension because the guys get all butthurt about you going out with your girls that he doesnt like.

If a guy friend didn't like my husband, then I wouldn't be friends with them. Same goes for my husband, if someone wouldn't for some odd reason like my sweet ass (   ) then he wouldn't be friends with them either. People need to respect that you are married, you're not just a single unit anymore.

Doesn't seem like it would be any different than having female friends who dislike him as far as I'm concerned. But then, my SO has never had an issue with me talking to other guys, and I've never had a problem with him talking to other girls.
