DUMPY mothers.

why do women(mothers) feel the need to look sloppy just because they had children? they always use the excuse "i never have time to get anything done because my baby ...." or "i'm too busy to fix my hair, or brush my teeth because i have to do this for my baby ..." i have a baby, and i find the time to get my hair and my nails done, and actually look presentable. alot of people are always asking me if i had a baby because they know mothers to look old and dumpy. so stop using your babies as excuses to not look good. there's a such thing as being comfortable, but not being so comfortable that u look 30 years older than u r. don't be an embarrassment to your child, dress your age and like you're actually living in 2009 not 1970.

uhmm.. wow.. im 19, have 2 kids, going on 3 and i look dumpy most of the time because i seriously am lucky if i get a chance to shower or do my makeup. your kinda acting like a snob.

wow. I mean some of it I can understand because I know mothers who go to school, work, are moms and manage to look good, but being so judgmental is inappropriate.

Ummm why does it matter if they look "dumpy"? If they're comfortable so what.
A lot of days if Cooper and I don't go anywhere I'll stay in my PJ's all day. So what?
If we go someplace I'll put on actual clothes, and usually throw my hair in a pony tail and I hardly ever do my make up anymore. The only time I actually "get ready" is when I go out...which doesn't happen too often. I don't see why it's a big deal. Who cares if they want to look comfortable or be comfortable?

WTF... I have 3 children 3 and under and I have better things to do that sit painting my nails. I have time to brush my teeth that is personal hygiene but as far as sitting for hours doing my hair, nails and make up ermm no I have my prioirties straight maybe you should check yours.....

Because some of us put our children's needs before our own.. as long as we feel comfortable what should we care what anyone else thinks?
