recovery from c-section

How long did it take before you felt recovered from your c-section? As in you were pretty much back to normal as far as activity and doing things.

I felt good after 2 weeks but it took a full month to not be in any kind of pain.

About a week, I felt good, but sore when I first go to go home and that was at 4 days PP, by the end ov the week, I felt great.

It took me about two mths before I stopped hurting every time I coughed or laughed really hard...

several months.

After the first week it split open again and drained like crazy for 2 weeks about, which no one told me about!!!
I finally started to feel sort of normal about the third week. I'm now 6 weeks PP and I still walk slower than everyone else and get very minor pains.
I'm not ready to exercise yet, think it might hurt it
Just take it easy!!! dont try to over due it or it will take even longer to heal. and dont wear jeans to early lol thats how I had my incision open up again!!

I'm 2 weeks PP and I still hurt a lot. My staples are suppossed to come out tomorrow and my clothes have kinda pushed some of my staples in deeper and so now I am freaked out about getting them pulled out...

Wow I had my staples taken out on the 4th day and it felt better without them in. You will probably feel better once theyre out, and it doesnt hurt at all when they are taken out
they will probably apply steryie strips (little tape things) to make sure it stays closed

It's really a lot less painful than you're probably imagining. I hardly felt itat all.
