Flu.. + a guy got stabbed

posted 1st Nov
Well kohner has the flu again!! How is it even possible to have the flu twice in 3months?? He was running fever and just not acting like himself at all yesterday, I continued giving him motrin/tylenol and he wouldnt really eat/drink.. Finally at 10:30pm we took him to the er, They didnt blood work and all that good stuff and he has the flu again.. He just started tamaflu.. I hope he gets to feeling better..

On a scary note, When we where leaving the hospital , i was putting kohner in his carseat and someone dropped this guy off and he was holding his back grunting like he was in serious pain, Noone was helping him not even the people in the hospital, so i ran over to ask if he needed help in the door, He said please help me please, and colapsed.. Thats when i saw blood all over him.. Someone stabbed him in hisback literally.. Crazyness..

geez, why didnt the person who dropped him off help him?! people suck.

I'm sorry your lo has the flu...twice!? that sucks. They gave my lo tamaflu as well, what does it even do though? I thought there was no medicine for the flu, and the doctor told me that she would still have a fever and all her other symptoms with it

Wow, about the guy with the stab wound! YIKES

As for the flu I'm so sorry your LO has it AGAIN! There are various strains of the flu and it's possible to contract different viruses. I hope he gets better ASAP!

Thats a good question... Im not sure what it does..

Yea i couldnt beleive the people that dropped him off just left him, Alone possibly dieing, There was blood everywhere.. I figured either they where all messed up/drunk, or on drugs.. Maybe going to find the person that stabbed him..

Tamiflu works to decrease the duration/severity of the flu by interfering with the way the virus replicates. That's the easy simple answer. LOL. If you want a long detailed description involving the bio-mechanism and how the virus replicates me know.

The person who dropped him off was probably the one that stabbed him.

thank you! thats a good explanation. So my pharmacist said that tamiflu was the medication for swine flu? Does that mean my lo has swine flu? The doctor at the er just said "flu"

Hmm, it probably was haha. If I stabbed a guy, I don't think I'd want him to live though and turn me in..so I'd probably leave him in the desert, not at the ER

Tamiflu isn't specific, it works on any virus the flu or swine flu included. The regular flu is just not usually treated unless the person is likely to have complications.
