walking on tip toes?

My 20 month old son just started walking on his tip toes. Is it cause for concern or is he just doing something new, he doesnt do it all the time.

hes most likely just being silly or goofy or my daughter does that just because, or when shes curious. if hes ALWAYS on his toes then i would ask his pedi.

LOL someone just made this same post a little while ago. My 17 month old daughter does it too. I think it is pretty common and normal but you may want to ask your pedi just in case.

my daughter is 10months...
when she tries to walk..it's on her tip toes...
i'm just hoping that she grows out of it and learns how to really walk...

well was he already walking normal and just started to walk on his tip toes??

oh ok good. no he doesn't do it all the time, just sometimes

yeah he was walking normal. he's been walking since he was almost 12 months old. it's just been since yesterday really that he started walking on his toes

ya hes fine mama! get ready pretty soon he'll be walking with his legs wide apart...for fun. haha.

my 3 year old still walks mostly on her toes..and trips and trips us all.i have asked my sons dr cause she dont have one and she said just remind her to walk on her feet, any of u have ideas about that?

I just about freaked when my daughter started doing that, turns out she was doing that for no reason, it lasted about a month or two, she's 21 months now and next to never does it
