Breastfeeding at 13...

I am trying to breastfeed my little girl Elaine but it hurts and I feel awful. Elaine keeps like knawing on my nipple. For being 13, I have big breasts, but breastfeeeding at 13 has been awful. Anyone have any tips for me?

Contact a lactation consultant

I'm not sure about the hurting, but make sure she's latching on correctly. Call the hospital and get a number for the lactation consultant, or call your local WIC office and ask if you could talk to theirs.
As far has having large breasts, believe me, I know how that is.
I heard put a rolled up receiving blanket or cloth diaper under the breast you're nursing from to give a little more support.

Try googling "breast feeding guide" or "breast feeding help". A lot of good info will come up.

That's what babies do, nobody ever said that breastfeeding was comfortable, but if it hurts that bad are you sure that she is latched on right? Your only 13 OP?
