diapers

I'm going to start stocking up on diapers for my LO every week. But I'm not sure which are the best types. I have found tons of coupons for every type but I don't want to waste my money if their not worth it.

What do you ladies prefer?

I like Luvs. I would buy one package of newborn, one of size one, then one of size two. You never know how quickly your LO is going to outgrow them.

i love pampers. my boys are allergic to huggies. Luvs leak for us

I hated luvs. Huggies are my brand of choice.

Huggies run big
Luvs run small
Pampers swaddlers are bigger than pampers baby dry
Parent's Choice run small
Up&Up (Target) run big.

I like Huggies but most of the time she has to wear Pampers because they fit.

I wouldn't buy a lot of diapers now because if your LO happens to be allergic to a brand like mine you have the headaches of trying to exchange them.

It looks like everybody is going to have their own preference. Should I just buy one of each brand and see which one works for me?

Same here. I use pampers... I accidentally bought luvs once and every time she would barely pee, the outside would feel soaked. It was nasty.

I wouldnt do that if I were you, we had hundreds of huggies that we wasted money on, they leaked. You should find what works best before you stock up IMO

You're going to waste your money doing that. Open up a savings account and just stick money in there. It's super easy and you won't waste money that way.

Yea I didn't even think of that! Maybe I should just put money away every week for diapers instead of just buying them.

Does the same go for wipes though?

I'd just wait honestly I did what you're doing and had to exchange all the huggies because they just didn't fit. OH and Huggies all natural ones are smaller than regular huggies.

For newborns I recommend the Pamper Swaddlers they have a line to tell you if baby peed.

If you get fragrance free or sensitive wipes go for it.

does anyone you are close to have a costco card? If so, I'd buy a case of huggies or kirkland brand wipes from there. The case of huggies wipes comes with five HUGE packages inside, for about 4 bucks a pop. That's a three dollar savings from the store! I don't like generic wipes because they stretch too much and are really thin. We used cheap formula, cheap diapers, and got all our clothes second hand... So I figured I could splurge on wipes  BTW a CASE of wipes from costco should last you MONTHS.
