re: HOW PAINFUL IS GETTING THE EPIDURAL

Unfortunately I didn't get my epi but when I was in labor and got the IV it didn't hurt at all. The nurse was inserting the IV during a contraction and the contraction beat the IV by a long shot. The nurse even said "am i hurting you too much". I was like "no, I think it's because these contractions are hurting too bad."

Mine didnt hurt until he hit a nerve, and kept going! I ended up having to have it take out, and had my first all natural, its not too bad to go that way either~ Had both number 1 and number 2 all natural, and will do the same with this one! Hopefully you get a good DR~

didnt hurt at all...of course i was contracting when they stuck it in so i didnt even pay attention

it hurts now..i get a dull ache there a few times a week, sucks!
