ideas on how to hide pregnancy?

posted 31st Oct
Hi, I posted this a few days ago in TTC but didn't get much response. Anyone have any ideas on hiding a pregnancy? my husband and I let everyone know at 4 and 5 weeks with our other two, so with this one, we've decided to turn it into a bit of a game and see how long we can get into the pregnancy before people notice. As I said, with the other two I never hid it, so any ideas? I've been eating SUPER healthy and walking every day and lost 3 out of 5kg. I'm hoping that if I put on pregnancy weight from my lighter weight, it's not going to be so noticeable as putting on weight at my heavier weight. any other ideas??

Ummm.... my friend just started her job with me at a pharmacy and she wanted to hide it cause idk why but she was afraid she'd lose her job if they knew so until she was 5 months pregnant, she wore a corset under her work clothes.

wear loose fitting clothes, not too baggy though unless you normally wear baggy clothes. start wearing maternity jeans early as it will hold your belly together rather then regular pants which will let your belly sit on top(like a muffin top) and look more obvious, complain to fmaily members that youve been putting on weight so they think its just fat

OP- Mmm besides wear baggy clothes, don't let on to any symptoms, wear an apron? haha I don't know.. That sounds kinda fun though.   Good luck!

I never agreed with how she handled her pregnancy. She did a lot of things wrong, like handling the chemicals for the photo machine still etc. But the thing is until around the 4/5th month any "showing" you may have is truthfully you just bloating. And I only suggested it, because I figured she wouldn't be around everyone all day long every day. So a couple hours wouldn't hurt. I still wore my corset shirt for a couple hours here and there til I popped at 5 months.

LOL yeah, I was thinking that. My MIL always said you can squish fat but you can't squish a baby. (I was worried about fitting into my wed dress that had already been let out 3 inches!)

Someone said spanks. What're they? and yeah clothes a bit on the baggy side are probably a good idea too. I've got a top that is slightly gatthered under the boobs, and then flows out. (it's summer here). I'm on the leaner size of average weight but having already had two kids I have a pot-belly at the best of times and that top makes me look pregnant. maybe I should wear that one so it doesn't look any different?

I would. Get a couple more of those shirts that way you aren't wearing the same one all the time. lol

sorry, BG was too slow for me last night, so I gave up.

Spanks are... well, kind of look like a corset but are of a sheer material. Not see through, but thing. They are in the undie section at Target. I wore one pp when I returned to work and it helped a ton.
