My mother thinks me and my bf are mean for not letting her come with us to find out the sex of the baby. I told her next time she can come but no she wants to come to this one, and she said if I dont let her she is just going to show up.

if you dont want her there just tell your doctor who you want there, and they can kick her out.

I don't think that's mean though... she should know it's your decision and that you want it to be a personal time with your bf. Just tell her she can look at the pictures later.

I wish my mom had been at some of my appts though... I've been to every single one alone.

I think she's being super immature. That is something special that for you and your boyfriend.. Some people want tons of family there to find out but others just want it to be the two parents..

definatley not mean. it's totally up to you and your SO. tell her you appreciate that she cares so much but this is something you'd rather experience with your SO, after all.. it's your baby not hers

she can get over it- she wasnt there when you two MADE the child, she heard about it later when you said you were preggo. same applies. YOUR special moment, she can be the first person you tell after YOU know. why should she know at the same time as you guys??

Your mom sounds crazy.... my BD's mom was with me when i found out...but i found out only because somelady hit my car and my stomach hit the stearing wheel.

me and my BF just want it to be us. We want to be the 1st ones to hear if it a boy or girl and plus this is his 1st time coming with me and seeing the baby besides the pics.

I don;t mi nd her being there fir the birth but for the ultrasound I just want it to be me and my SO. She does not even know where it's at so I don't think see will just pop up.
