17 weeks n hes confussed

when we found out we both were so happy but now hes being a jerk and treating me bad. but now its like im excited and hes not. hes being such a jerk right now and were fighting a lot. i dont know what to do or how to fix it. im not sure if he is going to b apart of his babies life or not. im really worried.... i think he might be scared bc its his first baby.... but i really dont know. i wish he would support me better. but then again he might b confussed on what to feel....

hold old is he?
he might not know how to be supportive. Maybe you need to talk to him about it or have him read a few pregnancy books. I am sure he is scared...

i tell him all the time that i need support and so does his family. they tell him that he needs to b there for me. him and i have long talk about this all the time but its like it doesnt sink in. hes 20 still kinda young but im younger than him... i dont know maybe im expecting to much out of him.....

Regardless, all guys go through a time when they are just really freaked out about the baby. Hell, my husband was freaked out at first and we were trying! Has he been to any doctor's appointments with you? My husband cried when he first heard the heartbeat.

There's also a saying, women become mothers when they find out they're pregnant; men become fathers when the baby is born.

thats exactly what happened with me except i wasnt at 17 weeks.. more like 8-9 weeks.. i say if hes gonna be a jerk and run off on you then its probably better that way and you dont need someone like that in your life.. im sure us girls are just as scared but we cant run away from this situation like they can.. my son's father ditched me from like 2 months to 7 months then tried to get back with me and tried to have a say in EVERYTHING which i didnt put up with cuz i thought it was bullshit that he thought he could just leave me with this for awhile then come back and everything would be fine... think again!! lol

this is my 2nd, I'm 30 and sometimes I am scared. give him time to figure it out.

were engaged but weve been engaged for a while and we were engaged and then i got pregnant. but no he hasnt been to any of the appointments. im just so tired of the fighting. right now were apart bc im out with family who are sick. and while im out herehe thinks that im with some other guy. ewww im engaged and im freakin pregnant. i dont im jus tired of the argueing and him tellin me hes leaving me and for me to do it alone. i jus dont get it

Theres nothing you can do right now. I know from experience I am now 23 weeks pregnant and he started acting funny and being mean to me and has never been to any appointment with me. I started standing up for myself and we started arguing finally he cheated on me and left me. He says he wants to be a part of the baby's life but he doesnt act like it. I finally just let go of him. I havent talked to him in almost two weeks and I already blocked his and his mom's numbers from calling or sending me text messages. They are the ones missing out on this little angel. Guys act like that cause they know they "got us" and we arent going anywhere but whatever dont be scared of him not being there for you and the baby because if he does choose to walk out then you are better off without him.
