does anyone else..

does anyone else feel like any occasion with your baby that is supposed to be special and happy goes all wrong?

im confused as to what you mean

Like when you have a baby ,
and the baby shower is supposed to be a good thing, and the pregnancy, and taking baby home
all of those things that are supposed to be special , but somehow on those dyas it seems like everything that could go wrong does go wrong?

yes! haha. I just feel that way because i picture special events with my son in a certain way and when they are totally different or something really bad happens i get upset.

Same! everyone tries to tell me I am in the wrong for getting upset when that happens but I feel like it is a normal reaction.

i know what you mean. i feel like that sometimes--but then i remind myself that i am only upset because things aren't going the way i expect them to, and all i need to do is give my baby a kiss and it helps me calm down, and remember that she is special and precious and she is all that matters--even if things not going the way i'd hoped, my life is still wonderful because she's in it. i would rather treasure my baby despite the little things going wrong, than get upset over stuff and not get to enjoy these precious times while she is still tiny.

Its normal.  When you become a mom for the first time you picture everything like a fairy tail but things rarely go according to plan haha. That can be hard to get used to at first. To them it may seem like you are overreacting but you are new at being a mom and you have to learn how to go with the flow of things.

Ya , I should really try not to have expectation with these things.
part of me knows that things wont go the way I want them to.
I am glad you understand, sometimes I feel like when they tell me I am overreacting by getting upset that maybe I am and shouldnt be like that.

Sometimes it is just hard not to get upset tho with the family that I am a part of. For example while I was in labour my mother in law was yelling at us because my BD was paying attention to me and not her, and she hasnt stopped causing drama since.

so despite all of the drama, stress , and everything going wrong
I had a wonder halloween for babys first halloween.
I will always tresure it .
