my labor story

i went to the hospital on tuesday the 26th to get induced . i got there around 6 pm they checked me and hooked me up to all the moniters i was only a cenimeter dilated but i was have contractions every 5 minutes so they decided to just start me on a low dose of pitocin that night instead of waiting until the morning. well like an hour after they started the pitocin i started having really bad hip pain that was on and off. they gave me ambien to sleep i slept for like 3 hours and then woke up at 6am when i woke up i was having really bad back pain they came back in at 730 to up the pitocin and an hour later i was having contractions every two to three minutes and they would last for like 2 minutes it was horrible back labor!! by 3pm i was in tears with every contraction they were having me walk around but i could only take a few steps till i would drop to the floor because of the pain around 345 pm the doctor came in and asked if i wanted the epidural and i said yeah!! the epidural didn't hurt at all the only time it hurt was the two times she hit my nerve in my back. i was really comfortable after that expecially with the button lol ! im not really sure about times after that i know the nurse kept on coming in and having me change positions. well the one time my so goes out for a cigarette the nurse comes in and checks me again and says im only at a two maybe 3 and that i needed to be put on oxygen because the babies heartrate dropped everytime i had a contraction and she said the doctor was coming right over to talk to me. well an hour later the doctor came in finally and said that she doesn't think my body is going to dilate and that she wanted to do a c section to make sure the baby is ok.within 30 minutes i was in the OR everything was going fine i didn't feel anything till right before they said they were going to take her out then all i felt was pain the worst pain i've ever felt in my life the medicine had worn off and i felt everything!! i started to panic they pumped me full of two different kinds of meds then the next thing i heard was my baby cry lol i was so drugged up when they showed her to me i was like she's mine? isabella weighed 6 pounds 10 ounces!! sorry if this is kinda jumbled im holding her right now so im typing with one hand . im still in alot of pain hopefully it goes away soon!! but im the luckiest person in the world i love my daughter with all my heart!!
