Quoting Noah's Here!! [FFMB]:“ I've been looking for the mom grants and things maybe you can help me with that. But I got pregnant ... [snip!] ... fully support me and I get WIC. I start college in January and I'm going for nursing...hmm what else idk, is that good? lol”

**You need to claim your child, not your parents. Your parents can claim your child since they are the head of the household.** <--- You live with them, right? So make sure that you claim your child so that FAFSA will award you more: more grants, then loans, or maybe even all loans (depending on your income).

Also, community colleges don't grant as much. When I transfered to my 4 year school, they gave me a $5000 scholarship for being a single mom (with a GPA higher than 3.0)

Tax wise (I'm taking a Fed Tax course right now.... I'm going to know more about credits in ch 12 but I can tell you right off the bat, that you're going to get $1000 for baby, and an EITC credit (could go up to 3800, depending....) if you make lower than (33,000 a year??? I'm not at home so I don't have the exact figures). Oh and depending on your college finances, you can get the Hope Credit for college on your NEXT return (2010)

I was 15 when I got pregnant for the first time. I didn't have support but I lost that baby..I still would have kept it. I got pregnant 3 months later and my mom kicked me out but my dad and stepmom support me in everything that I do. I still would have kept my baby with or without support.

I always said if I got pregnant I would keep it no matter what.
Thankfully my friends and family knew and understood, they have all been a support and didnt even have to ask what I wanted to do.
My mother in law watches my daughter so I can go to school, and my mother helps me out if I get too stressed about financial.
I am so happy with my decission and I would not change it for anything.

I'm 15, on number two.
I wouldn't have kept my first baby without family support, I had & have a ton.
This baby would have been a real scare if it wasn't for my great SO,
