Is tea ok to drink during pregnancy? Im trying to stay away from alot of caffenie during pregnancy...

i drank it, but sparingly. every once in a while is fine.

yes as long as it's noncaffeinated ,which a lot of teas are...just look at the tea box

Tea has caffenie in it...unless you get decaf.
I drink it all the time its perfectly find.

You could always get decaf tea   Tazo makes some great decaf flavors...

Caffeine if fine in pregnancy!! You are allowed up to 300mg per day of caffeine, thats like 15 cans of soda....

i drank raspberry leaf tea 3 times a day while pregnant, stayed away from others though

I drink decaf tea. Always have, so it isnt a big deal. But every once in a while I will have a flavored tea that is not decaf.

it is fine I believe the only kind you are supposed to avoid is if it has raspberry leaf or something like that because there are claims that it causes contractions.

did you ever have problems with the raspberry leaf my midwife had told me to avoid it because of the possibility it would cause contractions just curious cause it sounds really good?

It does not cause contractions. It tones the uterus for labor.

I still have drinks with caffeine. I've cut back, but you don't have to cut it out completely.

Celestial Seasonings has a TON of great caffeine free flavored teas..

umm no it doesn't start contractions at all, it is good for your uterus because it tones it, i still drink it now and i'm PP
