How much is too much too soon?? I am 12 daysPP from a CS and I have already lost 30lbs right off. I am also EBF... I have heard that it is dangerous to lose too much baby weight too fast but how much is too much??

I had a c-section and I lost 40 lbs one week pp and now it has been 7 months and so far I lost over 65lbs but I still want to lose 20 more. I dont really know how much is too much but the doctor said it was ok that I lost that much since I had a c-section I dont know why that makes a difference.

I lost 40 in two weeks and I'm slowly losing more and more and I'm 3months PP now. I don't see how anything could be wrong with it if it's just baby weight.

I know some of my 'weight' was water weight. I was pretty swollen for a week...the next thing I know I'm 40 lbs down. Some of it was the baby, the fluids, and some of it is you un-swollening. (lol)

I don't know how much is too much but I lost the same amount as you in about the same time. I gained 30 lbs in total but I'm 1 month PP now and am still losing weight so I weigh less than I did before I got pregnant. In my case it may be because while I was pregnant I lost some muscle mass since I couldn't weight train any more. I think when I start back at the gym (which is soon I hope!) I'll gain a few lbs back.

I gained 52 pounds through my whole pregnancy. By the end of my first week PP I had lost 33pounds!
I had preclampsia and retained a lot of fluid though so thats why I lost so fast. I've lost another 10 since then and I'm now 6 weeks PP
I think its normal, especially if you had a lot of fluid, or I guess some people lose faster if they breastfeed
I wouldnt be too worried about it, I know I wasnt ! LOL woo hoo quick weight loss!
