I just want to eat a cookie in front of him-on purpose!!

LOL i have a son who is a few months over 3. Well, he has had his terrible 2 moments, but man, a few weeks ago he started being a difficult kid! Screaming about everything from taking turns, to not wanting anything i make for a meal besides junk, to not wanting to potty train to refusing to let us change his diaper to just plain testing me and me having to get up 25 times an hour to threaten him to get him to behave!!! I dont like spanking, but ive done it lately, and well it doesnt work....i cant lift him up nor chase him too much as im on partial bedrest with this baby......ive even threatened to throw his favorite toy away even though i hate that method......but i am going bonkers.....and there is no one to come and help me or babysit while hubby is at work 9 hours a day! No naps either.....he wont take one and i havent the strength to hold him down so he falls asleep. Bahhh!!! I just want to do something to deliberately piss him off like he does to me, mean as that sounds lol! I had to vent....but really, does it end without parents ending up in the nuthouse?

aww I would do it eat the cookie lol that little bugger knows that he is getting over on you. I feel for you. Maybe try the corner it works with my bad nephew and he is 3 just a suggestion.

When my 2.5 yr old gets me all frustrated, I act like I do not care. I pout him back on the couch 100 times and tell him, "fine don't go to sleep, but you are laying here..." eventully, he loses interest in pissing me off. If he won't eat his dinner, I take away his cup and tell him, fine, go hungry....

I watch another 2 yr old and a 9 month old in addition to him, so I get frustrated a lot. lol

My son is two, and he's evil lol!

The kid has watched so much TV and movies lately (which I hate to do) just to keep him quite because I need to lay down. Not even sleep, I just need 10 minutes to lay down and breath a bit.

Good thing I have lots of family I can pon him off to though.

I actually read an article in parents magazine that said the "terrible twos" are nothing compared to the terrifying threes lol. That children are worse behaved at 3 than 2...
