New group for CNA's and Nurses

I was talking to some of you on a thread today and I think it would be fun to have a gathering place for us.

Im a nurse 23 years old from Maine 1 child a baby girl 6 months old..

If anyone is intrested feel free..or if u have any health questions im sure we will put our expertise together and help you out..

Hi! I wasnt in that thread but I am a CNA. Have been for three years but at the moment Im not working as one.  
Im going to be 20 on Tuesday and have a 16 month old girl and live in Marlborough, MA

im not a nurse or anything but i read that thread earlier and i like reading gruesome stories  

I wonder how many of us there are on here? I've seen a few other nurses, and some CNA's. Anyways, I'm Mandi, 32 mommy to Trinity who is 8 months. I just moved from FL to Buffalo NY about a week ago.

im not a nurse but im going to school to get my RN finishing up my pre req....got any advice?

Hi, Im an LVN or LPN.(not working right now, I had my baby 14 weeks ago) Im currently going to school for my BSN

my advice would be..put your nose to the grind stone.

study hard and if u struggle in any are get a tutor thats what there there for.

I had to have a math tutor and Im great at english bad at spelling so had someone edit all my papers and essays..

Just know that you are going to have days you want nothing more to give up.. just stick with it, it's worth it in the end.

this is a GREAT idea...nurses are fantastic..im a 3rd year nursing student i graduate in 2011   with my bachelors degree, then i will go on to specialize in a certain area!

I'm a nurse haha Since 2006. I'm so so old  

I did not love being a nurse this weekend lol

I was on call.

I work the over nights im the only nurse for 64 residence.

When you take call your on back up and the LPN does all the rounds from the skilled unit and on long term care..I use skype to talk to the nurses and the aids..

ive been needed every night for one reason or another..Im beat..but done til thursday.

I'm Stef and I'm 24 years old. I just had a baby girl 6 weeks ago. Her name is Lola Jane. I am a QMA and I work with Alzheimer's patients. I have been on maternity leave for the past 7 weeks. My first day back is tomorrow. I am studying to be a RN. In January I am going back to school to finish my degree. I plan on working in the NICU when I graduate.

I also specialize in long term and alzheimers care..

always loved it..

I tried a hospital and realized it wasnt for me.

I like working where its there home..and mostly there not sick your maintaining there quality of life.
