Cash aid for Families?

Does anyone know anything about it??

my sister gets it, she gets like 500 something a month for a family of 4. and she has to go to a class every week toget it and be actively looking for work,

What do you need to know? We got $550 (give or take) after my daughter was born for 3 person family, none of us working. We also got like 500-600 in food stamps. But it cut when we found jobs. Now that he'sdeciding to go back to college weonly get 190 cash and 327 food stamps and I work part time, 20 hours a week. They will pay for our daycare too when I need it.

yes, in washington atleast one of the parents has to be in partcipation with job classes, work or school. they would of gave me a year to myself with the baby but I decided I wanted to work.

what questions do you have?

1.)Okay so if i am going to school, will i still be required to look for a job?

2.) Do i have to be in a school thats like a vocational school?

Oh and if me and my sons father are living together, will they even try to get child support?

Not sure about the school thing, but here your required to look for a job least 32 hrs a week. Then when you get a job it has to be least 32 hrs aweek in order to get the day care. And you will have to open a child support case against the father in order to get the assistance.
