Yeah when Tom and I were together, he worked on call. Which sucked ass because I really wanted to work.

Its so tough when the hours arent set. If they were, I'd absolutely work part time at night while the hubs was home.
Some days he comes home at 5, other nights, like tonight, he wont be coming home at all. Gah. It sucks.

I'd go to work before he worked that much. But I am all for him getting a higher paying job! I think it's best for the mother to be home with the child before anyone else (other than father). We've had to change our lifestyle in order for me to stay home. We'd have to be in a really rough situation before we send LO to day care. Family comes before money.

My husband works from 1PM to 2AM. I've talked about working mornings, but my husband said he'd never see me then and I would hate that, too. If he worked an 8 hour job, I would in a heartbeat.

My husband usually works about 50+ hours a week. I don't HAVE to work, but I'd like to, so I'd have my own money. Because I don't spend his money on anything that I don't NEED. So I really only buy myself things like shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc, and I ALWAYS buy the cheapest brand I can. I never spend his money on unnecessary things like shoes, clothes, getting my hair done, purses, anything like that.

I feel blessed to be able to be a stay at home mother and wife.
