My Ex was murdered

My ex boyfriend was murdered last night. I honestly do not even know how to feel at this moment. We were together for so long. He was my first love. He had just called me last night. I ignored his call because I was with my son and I figured he just wanted a ride and I couldn't give him one at the time. They found his body in his car this morning. He was murdered. Shot to death. I have been calling his phone all morning since I found out. It is just so hard for me to except. I keep expecting him to answer the phone and be his goofy self..but no answer. No call back. I miss him so much. We have been broken up since 06 but have remained the best of friends for so long. I always wanted to help him get his life back on the right path and I thought he was..and than this happens. I had just seen him Monday and Tuesday. We were supposed to go to the Micheael Jackson movie together....I feel so bad because I wanted to help him and I couldn't he was to far gone down the wrong path...

I'm so sorry.

I know exactly what kind of relationship you had with him. My ex & first love spiraled into a world of drugs and alcohol. I couldn't put myself through that, so I broke up with him and tried to help him. He tried working on it, but gave up. He's now with one of my childhood friends who followed the same path as him. They're happy together, so that makes me happy, but I wish they would both clean up their act. If anything happened to him, I'd be devastated. I can only begin to imagine your pain.
