How did you pick your baby's name?

I'm interested in knowing how people pick names. My daughter's name is Morgan Rae. My boyfriend and I both love the name Morgan and I picked the middle name Rae in memory of my godmother that passed in May of 2007 from leukemia.

Samuel was a name that we both didn't hate, and Wade is my SO's middle name.

my son is Jonah Philip...
Jonah because I like biblical names.. and Philip (which is also biblical) because that's my dad's name...

timothy was the only one we could agree on and robert is his fathers name who passed away

My Hubby and I were looking on the HGTV website for kid's rooms ideas.. and we found one couple who'd set up the name JAXON over their son's crib... we both looked at eachother and said "Yup.. that's his name!" (it was going to be Hunter before that..)
And his middle name is Alexander after my hubby's grandfather..

Who's last name did Morgan get? I gave my son his father's last name, but I hear a lot of women disagree with that practice...

My husband was drunk one night before I even knew I was pregnant and said out of random if we ever have a boy he likes the name Cody. What do you know I found out I was pregnant a few days later and it kind of stuck since we both liked it. Wallace is my grandpa's name as well as my uncle's name and my brother's middle name so we made it his middle name too

Tyler Edward Allen (Tyler - only name we could agree on, Edward - SO's grandpa's middle name, Allen - my dad's middle name)

Kyle Patrick (Kyle - only name we could agree on, Patrick - SO's brother's middle name)

My daugter's name is Natalia Rae. I just couldn't decide and pretty much just let DH pick Natalia, we call her Natti. I gave her the middle name Rae after my uncle Ray who passed away while I was pregnant

My sons name is Hunter Ryan and my DH picked the first name and then we decided to use his brother's middle name as well.

Addison means "son of Adam (DH)" Michael (after my father) Scott (after DH's deecased brother). Two middle names...not quite what I had wanted, but neither of us was willing to budge  

Brandon Chase.....
I loved the name Brandon since I was a little girl, and had always wanted to name my first born son that.
Chase, was more of a last minute decision, but because it is both English and Gaelic and flows well with his first name, it was perfect

I loved the name Rei, my husband liked it too. We do prefer more unique names, but nothing overboard and crazy. Rei is just a pretty name and we liked the meaning. Lynn, the second part of her name (Reilynn), is my mother's middle name and fit beautifully with Rei.

I came up wit a list I liked, and Ayanna's father liked Ayanna best.

I chose her middle name for my mom's side of the family. Their last name was Parker back to the 1600's when my great, great, great (etc.) grandmother was killed in the Salem Witch Trials.

Which one?? lol For Mustafa it is the name of one of the first inlaws I met. He is an incredible father, husband and Muslim man. I hold him in super high regards. I chose that name for him.
All of my children have the same middle names(Alla Zayen) because of my husbands culture/influence. (their father's name being Alla then his fathers name Zayen then family name, but it could go back another generation to make it Mustafa Alla Zayen Hussein K________)

Allyson Paige
Allyson because both my and DH's grandmothers are named Alice. Allyson is German for little Alice.
And Paige, just because we liked it.
