H1N1 vaccine for kids

i have two childrenand one on the way ....my oldest son Brandon is 5 and my daughter Hailey is 4 and i am 22 weeks pregnant ....and i am wondering if i should get the kids vaccined for the H1N1 i know that i am not going to get it myself as i am taking steps in avoiding it ....staying home ....using salt water and upping my imune system .....know my children are currently living with their dad witch is a long and heartbreaking experince for me ....currently in court .....whole different story but back to the story .....my ex is getting the kidds the vaccine and i do not agree with it but have no say at the time so i pretty much just want to know what other mothers or fathers have to say about this issue ...like if they are giving it to their kids or not ....my daughter Hailey alreaady has breathing problem....she is up couching all night everynight since she was 1 ....i take her to the hospital when i have her and they say that she needs a puffer and my stupid ex thinks she does not neeed it ...so he does not get it for her but worried that she already has lung problems it might make it worse .....any suggestions please ...

I was pretty adamant that my kids were not getting it but my SIL told me last night about my nephews cousin, 12 year old girl, no med problems and she just died from it.
I really don't know what to do now.GL with your decision

Kind of random but did she get Tylenol? I heard that this could complicate it and sometimes cause death.

I wasn't going to get it, until I did research and the only documented, sourced information I could find was pro-vaccination, and anything anti-vax was propaganda twisted to play on people's fears. I haven't found one legitimate reason not to get it. Shrug.
I don't care if people get it or not, I just care that everyone makes an informed decision on what is right for them based on facts.

Really? I think the h1n1 vaccine is propaganda... you don't think so? It's on the news 24/7. I would hardly deem it a pandemic.

I really don't know too much at this point. I just pulled up the news story on it and there's really no detail.
I wish I understood more about the Tylenol aspect.
I understand the purpose of a fever during illness as the body's defense to fight it off and by eliminating the fever you are undermining the body's immune response.
I just wish I knew for sure the right thing to do

IMO, there is a TON of propaganda on BOTH sides of the vax issue.
Only difference is that the Pro side has Government organizations to back it (the ones w/ an interest in Pharmaceutical profits)
Both sides (Pro and Anti) use fear-mongering, propaganda and all sorts of tactics to sway people to their side.
Its really sad that you cannot get a true impartial source.
Personally, I am not Pro or Anti vax, just Pro Informed Consent.
