TTC again

So as some of you may know, I miscarried last week at 8.5 weeks.  It was my first pregnancy, and quite an emotional experience.  So I am back TTC again.  I had an incomplete miscarriage and I had a D & C last Friday (10/23).  My Doc says we can start trying again as soon as we feel ready.  I hope it happens for us quickly.  We got pregnant after 3 months of trying but I don't know if it will be different after D & C.  I have read that some women are very fertile after a  MC.  We get to start BD tonight, as we couldn't for a week after the procedure to avoid infection.  Wish me luck!  Did any of you ladies get pregnant quickly after a  MC or D & C? 

I've had a MC and got pregnant the month after....I didn't have a D&C and was 5 weeks when I MC'd

It can happen quickly. I got pregnant this time only 2 months after my m/c, but I had a medical miscarriage, not a D&C. The time before that it took 3 tries. I think I'm getting the knack of it now. BD every day and drink plenty of water, that seems to do the trick if your otherwise healthy.

Have you had a period since you m/c? Most docs will recommend that you have at least one before trying again. I'm sorry for your loss mama. And good luck ttc!!

My doctor said for me there is no medical need to wait for a period....I know everyones doctor has their own opinion.  I was 8.5 weeks but was only measuring 4-5 weeks...but anyways no I have not had a period yet...I will keep you ladies updated...It is good to hear that many of you were pregnant quickly after a MC.  Thank you for your stories! : )

im so sorry for your loss   as for us it took us a while before getting another bfp. but i hope thats not the case for you! GL hunn!
