Ultrasound *Pics*

Im sorry I couldnt come on here last night to update anyone but I was pretty upset. I went to my OB to get checked because I had some brown spotting a few days ago. She did an ultrasound and the baby is measuring smaller than it should be. Heartbeat was about half as fast as it should be and didnt even past the "eye test"so she's not really sure whats going on. According to my LMP I should be 7 weeks but the baby is only at 5 weeks 6 days. Im guessing because it has a heartbeat that I should stay positive but since I lost the last baby Im honestly a mess. Anyone had a similiar experience and end up having a normal pregnancy?

I was supposed to be 11wks at my first ultrasound and measured just over 7wks, went on to have a normal pregnancy(a few ups and downs but completely unrelated).

well that gives me hope. im praying i just ovulated later than i thought ya know. i couldnt help but cry though.

oh wow that is a big difference. im glad everything worked out for you mama. i have another ultrasound in a week and im so anxious.

My doctor went by my LMP and I told him that it would be all wrong because I ovulated very late. I went for my scan and the baby was measuring nearly two weeks behind according to the LMP but going by ovulation it was perfect. I'm now 38 weeks pregnant and they are going by ovulation not the LMP.

I know my cycles are 33 days long and according to my OPK i ovulated on CD 19 so would that make sense for the baby to be that big right now? The thing Im mainly concerned about was the heartbeat being so slow. It looked pretty fast to me but she said it wasnt.

Did she say how fast it was goingother than it being slow?

no but she said it didnt pass the "eye test" so she didnt bother counting it out. she said that some have heartbeats in the 50's one week and the next week their in the 100's. im just trying to stay positive.

she said by her just looking at it she could tell it wasnt fast enough. she called it the "eye test" who knows if thats really a test.

Well i've never even heard of it before and I tried googling it to see if anything came up so I would know about it and nothing..   Hopefully she isn't stressing you out for nothing   Stay positive hun.

yeah i hope its because i ovulated late. i will update everyone when i get my next ultrasound. unless something happens before then. thanks for the luck ladies! i appreciate it.
