im really glad i have you girls to give me advice. seriously. i felt like complete shit all night and all morning. oh and i found out this morning that my uncle killed himself. so yeah my day hasnt been so great but you guys definately gave me hope and i thank you for that.

at least I could give you the information to put your mind at ease about the baby!!! you're measuring perfect and getting to see the heartbeat is GREAT!!! it means the baby is strong and doing well

hopefully next time the baby will be bigger and the heartbeat will be stronger. im going to ask them to count it out this time...im going to Radiology at Beth Israel in Boston. My OB wont be doing the ultrasound so Im sure things will go smoothly.

I know I'm late on this but I just wanted to give you a bit more reassurance:

For four weeks we tried every week to find something on my Ultrasounds and found nothing. My doctor was starting to wonder if maybe my rising hCG levels were indicative of something going seriously wrong with the tumor on my ovary and the mass on my kidney. There were several new cysts on my ovaries too.

Then at 6 weeks we saw the Gestational Sac for the first time. As the Ultrasound continued they found the Yolk Sac. Then the tech got an idea and had me switch positions and elevated my hips with a pillow. BAM! There's a fetal pole and heartbeat! I walked out of there thinking I was 6 weeks.

Come to find out later that my uterus was so tilted that my little 6 week embryo was actually a 7 week embryo, but looked smaller because my uterus tilts so far into my back. The condition has corrected itself almost 100% now and I'm 22 weeks.

You could just be a late implanter (that was problem one for me) or have a tilted uterus (problem two for me) or it could be both. Good luck mama, you're in my prayers!

oh wow im glad everything worked out for you. im thinking its because i ovulate late in my cycles and my OB is going by the normal 28 day when i actually have 33 day cycles. im keeping my fingers crossed for next weeks ultrasound and hopefully i will have some good news for you guys.

when do you go back?
