The 2 Under 2 Club

posted 29th Oct
Who is/has been a member of the 2 babies under 2 years Club? I'm going to be a member next summer. I'm excited but very nervous....especially being that I'm a working mommy. It's going to be rough.

What are the Pros/Cons?

Do you love it?

Wish you had waited a little longer?

Is your BD supportive/helpful?

Any tips/words of advice???

I'm gonna be. My kids will be 14 months apart. And I want to watch this, because I'm flipping out.

I'll let you know in December.

I was told that as much as you think you will be able to get by without a double stroller that it is a good investment, though.

i am now one. i have a 21 month old and 2 week old.

its basically hell. lol. my son has totally reverted and is being a complete ass and does anything he isn't supposed to, plus more and now throws a fit every 5 mins.

when my dh is home he is very helpful, but he isn't home much due to work.

its really not that hard to juggle 2. Mine are 16 months apart. But then again I have worked in childcare and taught preschool for a few years prior to having kids so I am used to much more lol. I guess if you aren't used to multitasking everything x2 it can take a while to get into a routine at first but its really not awful or anything. I wouldn't have it any other way!

Did you PLAN your children that close or did it just happen? BD and I wanted our kids about 2 yrs. apart.

Oh My. I'm sure that time is absolutely crawling for you, but it seems like your littler one is older than 2 weeks. It just seems longer from way out here in 'still gestating' land.

Haha, I'm planning on the sit n stand deluxe, that has two seats in it, but the back one can be removed for when my son gets older.

Add me, my girls will be roughly 16 months apart! I ponder those same questions daily.

Oh gosh! I can just see Sydney being like that! She already constantly challenges me and throws tantrums at 13 months! I can't imagine how bad it will be at 21 months!

My son just turned 2 when his sister was born. At first he didn't like her but she grew on him. I love it. The fact that my kids will be in school together and get to do similar things together. My SO is super supportive and helpful. He either fed our daughter while I cooked or cleaned while I showered and we would both lay our kids down. We'd alternate and still do. It's a little frustrating when one naps and the other don't. I worked and so did my SO both full time. But once we got our routine down everything was a breeze. The diaper thing well it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. But things are better since my oldest is now potty trained.
