i never suggested changing the spelling of aurora, obviously that would not be possible without the A in the name aurora...

OP said she wanted to use the name sienna but didnt want her kids initals being SAK cuz she thought kids would make fun of her child....and another mama suggested changing it to cienna... i just agreed

although if really wanted too you could change Aurora to Orora same sounding... but yeh, not my cup of tea, plus kinda disrespectful to person being honored..

My grandfather was Lorne Kitchener
my aunt was named after him as Lorna
I was named after him as Laura
another cousin is Lorne.
then a 2nd cousin is Lauryn after him
then... cousin named ben kitchener after him
and my son is Riley timothy Phoenix (kitchener is name of city, and so is phoenix)
so there are lots of variations to show honor to a loved one.

I still like Madalyn, as suggested by another person..
