She wasn't saying that she was taking responsibility for the rape itself. But the fact that she didn't do as much as she could to prevent it. Two totally different things.

I didn't say victim's have responsibility for the rape. I say they have the responsibility to do as much as they can to not put themselves in a dangerous situation.

Just like in a car. You have the responsibility to wear your seatbelt. If you don't and are otherwise following the law and get hit by a drunk driver and killed, is it your fault? No, but you did fail to try to protect yourself.
