how did LO begin to crawl??

I mean did they get up on their hands and knees one day. on there own and evntually figure out how to move. or did you put them on their hands and knees and they figure the rest outt??

Liv army crawled about 5 months, got up on her hands and knees and rocked for about 2 weeks then figured it out and took off by 6 months.

at 5 months kayden started army crawling

Hi again   LOL.

C would get in crawling position, then lunge himself forward, then repeat. Then he actually crawled a few feet without going back onto his stomach. & So on.

5 months 
My daughter went on her hands and knee 1 week before she turned 5 months and started rocking back and forth 
now shes all over the place

first started to get up in the crawling position, then started rocking back and forth. then crawl backwards.. like trying to do an army crawl.. and she crawled the army crawl.. and finally.. crawling..

she dragged a leg in front of her though. it was weird..

Charleigh has been getting up on her hands and knees for about a month now (she's 5 months old), but she is army crawling all over the place. She has started rocking when she's up on her hands and knees, so we'll see how long it takes her to start going.

lol hey gurl... oh well RE hates being on his stomach. and he wont even attempt to get on his knees...lol. i put him on his hands and knees today and he began to rock

should i keep doing that or let him do it on his own??

Oh the rocking thing is a good thing ! After he does that for a while, he should get it.

Yeah I would, keep practicing with him. He might not get as frustrated if you're there with him. Thats what I did with C.
He "almost" crawled at 5 months. But perfected it at 6 (now)
