eighTEEN nineTEEN. Still a teen. No mater the "legal" age aspect of it. If you want to get into legal terms you can't drink until 21 if you do and get caught it is called a "MINOR in possesion" it is not bad to be a teen it is only a stage in life.

I honestly wasn't treated like an adult (by my family) until I was 22-23

Plain and simpls if your age ends in teen you're a teen mom. It doesn't matter what you're doing how much money you have or how bad ass your mom skills are. If your age ends in teen you are a teen mom.

I agree. I can see where people get the whole "if it ends in -teen, then your a teen mom", but I think it has more to do with mentality. I'm technically a teen mom, lol, but definitely not what people think of when they hear "teen mom".

So what is "mental" about being nineTEEN? It is a clear age. TEEN! Just because someone is a teen mom doesn't render her incompatant. It states that she is a teen mom.
