Miscarriage at 16 weeks

I miscarried at 16 weeks last May. My water broke in the middle of the night and about 10 minutes later I delivered my baby in my bathroom. I've been tested for every blood disease/disorder possible and everything is normal. My doctor has no explaination for this happening. I hadmy sontwo years prior and I am currently 8 weeks pregnant. I am wondering if anyone else has had a premature rupture of membranes or miscarriage after 12 weeks and what type of explaination they were given. I'm really worried about this current pregnancy, so "happy-ending" stories would be appreciated lol  .

I have no idea..and I wish you luck!!! But I just had to tell you that you're due on my birthday lol. Best day of the year!

My SIL had that happen the very 1st time she got pregnant. No doctor could find the problem and when she got pregnant with her second son she went to a high risk doctor (it was very expensive I know) and she had tests and they found out she has a weak cervix and thus couldn't hold the pregnancy. All they had to do was sew her cervix shut and she had a normal healthy pregnancy.

I loss 3 boys...16w...18 and 20w. With all I had PROM
I was already a mom when I loss my first but to make a long story short...I unknowingly had signs of incompetent cervix with my first pregnancy but thank god I delivered a healthy boy. During delivery however, although things seemed ok then, my high-risk docs say that delivery with him was considered tramatic to me and then it caused my cervix to weaken to the point that I needed assistance to carry again.
I gave birth to my daughter this past April andshe is great! I had to get an Abdominal cerclage to help my cervix do its job

thanks to all! my dr. specializes in high risk, so when i go back november 13th, I'm going to talk to him about the cervix issue and see if that might be an issue for me.
