hopefully the right section, gastroschisis

im 35 weeks along and my daughter has gastroschisis.
im going to be delivering at 38 weeks so that she can have her surgery done asap.
has anybody else been through this?
i just want hear some stories of personal experience.

Is that when the intestines are on the outside? I know there's a mommy here in these forums who's daughter had it too. As far as I know they're doing just fine

good luck with everything. there's a girl on here who lives a few mins away from me and her daughter was born with gastroschisis in january i believe. everything went great with them, and her daughter was home within a few weeks.

if thats where the intestines are on the outside, a friend of mines baby had that problem, now shes 2 and as happy and healthy as can be!
