baby with gastroschisis

im 35 weeks along and my daughter has gastroschisis.
im going to be delivering at 38 weeks so that she can have her surgery done asap.
has anybody else been through this?
i just want hear some stories of personal experience.

I think there are at least two mommies on here whose little ones had that!

My niece was born with gastroschisis and everything turned out fine! She is a gorgeous 5 year old girl now!

My nephew was born was gastroschisis. My sister had him by c section and i believe he was in the hospital for about a month. He is now a healthy and extremely smart 7 year old. Dont worry mama your little girl will be okay!
