Personally, im against abortion.
sorry to say. if no one agrees with this okaybut i do want your opinions.
Well im going to be a 17 year old mother and im up to it i mean i got myself into this sitch so i gotta pull through. why should women get pregnant just to have an abortion? i mean if you didnt want a baby then why have sex? why not use birth control why not use condoms with spermicide? hmm..thats just how i think of it. God didnt put us on this earth to kill unborn babies who cant defend themselves. i personally think that if you have an abortion, your killing a life. maybe that baby could of been something in the future. i myself was supposed to be "killed" in a abortion but the lady who had me was already to late into the pregnancy..so she gave me up for adoption,not even adoption more like a (hey ima give my kid up to the first person who walks in the door) and she did..idk i think abortion is depressing and if you dont want to take care of a baby dont get pregnant.

Uhm okay.
You have to understand there are ALOT of people pro-choice, & alot of people pro-life. I myself am pro-life. But I dont get into the debate with anyone about my reasoning, because they have just as good of reasons in their opinion.

This is the wrong section to post this. There are plenty of people that believe exactly the same thing as you.

Sometimes things just happen. I believe it takes a lot of strength for a woman to get an abortion. Sometimes it's the more responsible thing to do to get an abortion rather then to have the child.
I was not one of the women strong enough to have an abortion. But I do not view women who are as any less.
I was also 17 when I got pregnant, But if I could go back in time and prevent myself from getting pregnant, God knows I would.
Especially because at such a young age, How am I supposed to know how to raise a child?
But I'm taking responsibility for my actions, Just as some women who view abortion as their option are.

Also, Yes, Adoption is always another choice, But with the foster homes so crowded, Children aren't being adopted. We're in a downfall economy right now, People don't have the money to adopt a child, So would you rather shove your child that you didn't want to take responsibility for in an orphanage?

Yea, that's the silliest thought.
Very few people get pregnant *just* so they can abort their fetus. The ones that do are mentally unstable.

There is one girl who had her baby at 17.. and has not uploaded pictures of her child on myspace since april or may.. but she has all kinds of time to upload pictures of her partying... I want to say something SOOO bad.. but I hold my toungue!

This is a topic better suited for D&D not Abortion Survivors. This thread is for women who need support and advice. They do not need to come here and see threads like this. They made their choice and they are trying to deal with the emotions that come with it, and coming here to find a thread like this going to do nothing for them.

OP you cant act like you know every situation.. just because you feel that in your situation you should have/keep your baby doesnt mean you need to force your veiws on others. everyone and every situation is different.

being a parent is a hard job, and the first night with your baby, you'll realize it

Yes but it's also said that everything happens for a reason and/or "God has a plan" so maybe those babies that were aborted weren't suppose to be born anyways. Most women who get abortions were not trying to get pregnant in the first place. I don't know one woman that has gotten pregnant and then gotten an abortion just for the fun of it. People take precautions but shit happens anyways. Just because they got pregnant after taking the precautions doesn't mean that all the sudden they want the child. Yes, adoption is an option but that doesn't mean that every woman, who doesn't want a child, wants to take 9 months out of their lives, carrying a child they never wanted to begin with. Shit happens, those women have options, and whether you like it or not, abortion is one of those legal options.
