Do you still sterilise bottles?

Once your baby started crawling??

People have told me they dont bother since your LO is crawling on the ground picking up dirt and stuff so there is no point in sterilising anymore.

it just feels weird to me to not do it, so i still am. just wondering if anyone stopped?

 

No, its pointless to even do it from birth.

I at least put the bottle through the dish washer.

I do, but I don't boil them anymore, we just got a walmart microwave sterilizer. It takes like no time at all, so I see no reason not to.

Nope. Not me. Its pointless.

i was told once they are on more then 1 meal of solids a day theres no need for it  
which is good because i hate sterilising....

Yes still do it... dirt is diff. than rotten old milk.. kwim?

its pointless to make sure that your baby isnt getting any un-necessary germs?  

ive heard most americans dont do it, its a big thing here in Aus though....

yeah thats what i have. takes 2 mins which is why i still do it

yep... i mean i still scrub and stuff it just feels weird to not do it. i spose eventually i dont have to. i dont sterilise her sippy cups

i still sterilise brooklyns nipples she uses drop in bottles

Cleaning them like any other dish is perfectly fine.
Like I said, if you're cleaning them like you clean the rest of your dishes, there is no need to sterilize, at all.

i just wash with warm soapy water

I still use the Milton sterilizing solution usually each Sunday to just freshen them up.
Through the week is just washing in warm, soapy water, & rinsing with hot water.
