Moving Out Question/Advice. PLEASE :)

I feel the need to move out of my parents house so bad. They are always chastising me!! They wont let me do anything without their input being put in!!

I need my own space. Then again, i have so much anxiety.
I'm scared to be on my own.

Did you feel that way?
I found these apartments right down the street from my parents house.
They are $463.00 a month.. I know they are pretty cheap.
My sons daddy makes 1200.00 a month..
Does that sound like ill be able to make it?
The only other bills id pay is for Electricity. The apartments take over the rest.

How much do you ladies spend on bills, a month.?????

we spend around 1800 with a $1000 rent, and that includes our cell phones, and car insurance...

i think you'll be fine. just budget!!

They say you should make 3 times as much as your rent and utilities.
You guys may be able to make it if you budget your money correctly and not spend foolishly. It will be hard at first, but you're old enough to be on your own and I bet your relationship with your parents will get better once you are out of their house and on your own.

That will be really tight, but I think it would be possible if you stick to a strict budget.

I know my hubby only makes 1400 a month,
and rent is 700 for a one bedroom
bills are about 700....
and food....well we manage somehow,lol

you are making more money than me, and my rent is 740. i say go for it. just be wise about spending.

Its not "bad" like drug dealers on every corner but its not exactly a place, id feel safe walking out at night.

Plus i do have a lot of friends that live in the same complex. And their children. And i see alot of other children!!

There is crime everywhere but if you are walking outside and seeing murders then i wouldnt move there. Will you be working also? I honestly dont see how anyone can live off of 1200 a month

with the amount you guys make it will be tight but it can be done on your own

Me personally, I would not move to a place that I don't feel 85% to 90% safe in. It's for my own peace of mind. But if you have friends who also live in the complex, then that's a little comforting.
The price may be right, but when you have to sign a lease, it may not be worth it in the end.
Look up the zip code, check out the crime rate, ask your friends about the complex.
You always want you and your baby to be safe, first and foremost.
