My friend had a similar reaction after taking reglan. All her muscles started seizing up and she couldn't move her neck and they had to go to the ER. ick.

I do not think she is faking it. She was a cheerleader and everything, I don't think she'd get outta her way &+ ruin her life just to get a lawsuit !

After reading some more about it, I don't think she's faking it consciously. I think she has mental issues.

I guess the only question I would have for her situation is what exactly did she do from the 2 months prior to having the flu shot up until the symptoms happened. And if there was any history of this in her family.

Just because she had the flu shot ten days prior to this unfortunate circumstance does not mean that it was because of direct effect from the shot.
