Tracking your babys movement in 3rd trimester

I'm in my last trimester and the doc said its time to track how much the baby moves. So how do I do that and how much is the baby suppose to move, or how many times? During what period of time? Some help please?

6 kicks in an hour

10times a day. each movement you feel is 1 "tick" for your list.

i think like 6 kicksan hour or so? maybe im wrong but thats always what i thought

How funny.. my doctor hasn't even asked me to count the kicks or anything. I can tell you he sure does move in there though!

My doc said you should feel 10 kicks in a one hour period, but some others say a two hour period. Of course, it could be more, but if it's less, contact your doctor.

so when you count for that hour would it just be that hour or every hour of the day?

I think it is just a random hour. LOL Cause they aren't gna be active every hour of everyday. Try and do them around the time you notice the most activity.
I know with me... right after I eat.. the baby is NUTS!

Or just call your Doc and they should let you know fa sho!

yeah right after i eat and right when I go to bed my baby is going crazy lol, I'm going to see the doc this friday, for the first time I got lik a billion of ?s to ask him lol, so far I havnt worried about anything up until now, I guess its cuz i'm getting closer and closer to the due date. Time flies when your prego. its crazy

no its not the first time, it'll be the first time i have questions for him. I havn't started worrying about things until lately
