this thread is making me laugh.

Seriously, it is only ONE letter difference!!!

Definitely and it drives me nuts.

Especially when people abbreviate it to "def." because they have no clue how to spell it. lol

That's true. It still made me laugh though.

I'm surprised by how many people are irritated by "definitely". I've been guiltly of spelling it wrong myself on occasion. People tend to spell things the way that they sound. I can see definitely spelled d-e-f-i-n-a-t-e-l-y to be an honest mistake.

Somebody (same person) is always doing contests and using the word *enteries* instead of entries. Kind of drives me up the wall.
