Vaccine Monday & now he's sick?? Please read.

I am NOT blaming, but I am observing. My 10 month old got the H1N1 vaccine (injection) on Monday afternoon. Last night, he was a little cranky. This morning, he woke up with a slight runny nose & cough. Tonight, his nose is running non-stop, his last diaper was diarrhea, & he has been whining & crying constantly. He has always been an unusually happy baby, so this is definitely out of character for him to be so upset. I took his rectal temperature & it was 99.5
Should I be concerned? Does anyone think this might have anything to do with his vaccine? I need some opinions & advice please!

Isnt the vaccine a live vaccine? or just the nasal spray? anyways I would assume its to do with the vaccination. You can call his doctor and ask them what to do.

I had the regular flu shot a few years ago. It broke my immune system and I caught everything but the flu for the next year after. Be prepared for a lot of runny noses and coughs. This is why I refuse to get me or my son the shots.. either of them.

The nasal spray is live. The shot is not.

Its a dead virus in the injection.
I think I am going to call his doctor in the morning if he isn't feeling better by then...

Some people have bad reactions to flu shots (regular or h1n1)
Anytime I got the regular flu shot I would get sick (high fever, cough, cold, diarreah) I'd take him to the doctor asap

H1N1 comes with a fever. Does the vax sheet tell you what to watch out for?

He & I both have sucky immune systems. My 5 year old has brought home at least 6 illnesses since August, & Chase and I caught every one of them. My 5 year old, however, hasn't been sick in over a year   Her teacher is to the point where she calls me as soon as she finds out someone in the classroom is sick so that I can prepare

I didn't get any paperwork for either child  
Someone linked me to it this morning though. I think fever was normal, but it didn't say anything about cold symptoms.... And I can't remember what section diarrhea was in.

He just fell asleep, so I think I'm going to watch him through the night & see how he feels in the morning.

when I think fever, I think more then a low grade... he may also have been coming down with something and coincidentally got sick after the vax.

It could be a cold. It doesn't really sound like H1N1 to me.

I definitely don't think that he has H1N1. I don't think its even possible to get it from a vaccine (unlike other people who claim it happens)
I just wonder if he is having a reaction to the vaccine, etc.
