I'm just bawling my eyes out.

My son just came up to me and said, "Can I have mach?' which in his language means fruit snacks, I said "yes bring mommy one too."

and he came up to me and said, "This one is for mommy and this one is for Ja-ob"

I asked him again, "what's your name?" and he said, "Ja-ob"

I've never been able to teach him his name! He's 3 and 1/2, he finally did it! I'm just in tears! I know it may have something to do with special preschool but I'm excited! His name is Jacob BTW so that's really good!

It's English. But...he just doesn't talk very well and never has, all his words slur together and makes it hard for him to understand. If we would ask him, "who's that in the mirror?" or "who's that in the pictures?" he would always just say, that's me that's me. We couldn't get him to say his own name. He's supposed to be working with a speech therapist at his new special school, but I haven't heard anything back. regardless, he finally picked it up!

aww my grandma is from England she is hard to understand at times my dad if named Phillip and she says feelip and tulips is trueeps.
