Well I signed up for a procedure called Reverse tubal ligation, and I was wondering should I really do it? Or should I adopt? I want this more than ever, but I am getting scared! What if I cant get pregnant afterwards? That would be $15,000 wasted! I just got engaged to my youngest daughter's father, and he wants more children, and so do I. Should I really go through with it?

wow I know lots of people who have had it done and none have ever spent 15K you need to shop around, it should run less than 5K

my aunt got that done and she is ttc right now

If I were you I would.I personally couldnt adopt now that I have my own kids. I had my tubes tied 5 months ago and I thought it was the right choice but Ive regretted ever since. In the future I might have mine reversed too and I would pay the 15 grand to do it.....even if there was a lowered change of conception.

why notthink about a surrogate

if you have the money, then I say do it, but I wouldn't go to the poor house just to get that done.

if you can afford it, and you dont ' have any problems w fertilization. Could you afford ensimination if you can't the old fashioned way?

thats what I thought too, about 5k

Have you looked into IVF?
It would give you a chance to have more children and keep your tubes tied so you don't have to re tie them.

How does your fiance feel about adoption vs. having a blood child?

nope I dont think it was 15k though that sounds like a lot. She is in the Air Force so its not like she has that kinda money laying around.

In ND its against the law to pay a surrogate, not sure about where she lives, the implanting procedure probably wouldn't be more than areverse tubal ligation I wouldn't think, and besides after you have then somebody has to get fixed again after your done having kids

Yeah if I reverse mine Im making my husband get fixed after that lol.
