advice for baby shower

Im looking for some advice about my upcoming baby shower!
I want it to be fun and exicting for everyone, like with games and lots of prizes. So what are some of the best games for showers, like what games had the best reaction from your guests and so on??
And i dont want to go overboard with games, so im figuring like 3-4; does that sound about right??
also, i read that you can give prizes out for other things too, like who has a birthday closest do my due date, and things like that, does anyone have ideas for something like that??
I really appreciate any help, my shower is Nov. 14 and its my first baby, and i want to make it special. But considering ive never really been to a baby shower, i have no idea what to do for my shower, or what to expect!!

You can do door prizes, like have everyone bring a pack of diapers and that enters them into a drawing for a prize, or mark the bottom of one of the cake plates-whoever gets the marked plate gets a prize-another variation on that one is write numbers on the bottom of the plates and you randomly choose a number and that person gets a prize.

GUESS THE GERBER: Take the labels off of 8-10 baby food jars and number each one. Have everyone guess each one. They can look at it, smell, it and even taste it if they are brave. (make sure to buy extra plastic spoons)

DIRTY DIAPER: Pick about 8-10 candy bars and melt each one and put it in a baby diaper so it looks like you know what. Label each one with a number and pass them each around to everyone to look at and smell then have them guess what kind of candy bar it is.

ICE ICE BABY: Take small baby figurines and freeze them into cubes of water. Give one to each player and have them try to melt it. The first one to melt it and get the baby out has to yell "my water broke"

BOTTLE CHUG: Fill 4oz bottles with some sort of liquid. Carbonated ones work best (Sparkling cider, soda, sparkling water) but you can use milk, juice, or water. Then have them race to see who can drink their bottle the fastest.

For an idea that is not exactly a game but idea for prizes is to have a diaper raffle. Let everyone who's coming know that thaeir will be a diaper raffle and that anyone who brings diapers will be entered in a drawing for a prize.

Oh and a baby shower must is guess mommies tummy.

Each player has to cut a string that they think will fit perfectly around the mommy to be's tummy. The person who gets the closest to the actual size wins a prize.

Magazine baby- get magazines and have groups put together what they think the baby will look like.

Measure the belly- self explainatory haha
Nursery Rhymes- it's HARD
How many baby items can you name in 3 mins [or however long]
Guess that baby [Have everyone bringa baby picture and guess who it is]

Some more that you might like are:

PLACE THE BABY ON THE TUMMY: Just like pin the tail on the donkey but you blindfold all the contestants and have them try to tape a paper baby to your tummy.

NEVER SAY BABY: Each person gets a necklace with 5 baby safety pins and they can't say the word baby throughout the shower. If someone catches them saying it and calls them out on it gets one of their safety pins. The pseron with the most in the end wins.

We did.. DIAPER DESIGNER.

Put everyone in to groups of like 3-5. They get tape, toilet paper and a black marker. They had to use the toilet paper to create a diaper on a member of the group. lol. IT WAS SOOOOO FUN AND JUST HILAROIUS. Mom gets to pick the winner.
